Wildwood Bakes has grown out of a love of baking. Way back when I was a kid I used to help my mum in the kitchen. She taught me age old techniques and recipes that her mother and grandmother had taught her. More than often we'd spend the weekends making crumbles for Sunday lunch, or classic Victoria sponges for afternoon teas - she was always astounded that my sponge cakes were always perfectly risen and lightly golden!
Over the years I've slowly 'borrowed' most of the recipe books in my mum's house, added a fair few to the collection myself, and been on mouthwatering baking courses, experimenting as I went along. After endless hours of practice in the kitchen I have ended up where I am today and I only hope you enjoy eating my creations as much as I do making them!
